PRM makes CCF news again with their "green" Rotar Products

A relatively recent development has seen Rotar nominated for the 2015 Manufacturers’ Innovation Award – Tools & Attachments at the World Demolition Awards is its approach to improving the hydraulic efficiency across its complete range of attachments. Like other hydraulic attachment manufacturers, Rotar once bought all its hydraulic fittings from specialist manufacturers, but found that there were significant pressure losses through resistance to flow within the attachments that reduced their efficiency.

After analysing the situation for some time, Rotar made the revolutionary decision to build all its hydraulic cylinders, valve blocks and hoses in house, and to use a larger diameter than commercial components in order to reduce the pressure loss and increase hydraulic efficiency.
